Basic Heartsaver CPR
The Basic Heartsaver CPR class is intended for anyone with little or no medical training who requires a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Classes are taught by the Park Forest Fire Department.

BLS Healthcare Providers CPR
The BLS Healthcare Providers CPR class is intended for Healthcare Professionals who may require a completion card for their job. Topics include CPR and AED, Basic or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Stroke training, and more. Classes are taught by the Park Forest Fire Department.

Young Creatives
“All children are artists, the problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up…” Pablo Picasso. So, before you can become a Jacob Lawrence or Picasso, you must first get comfortable with, and try different tools and mediums (the things we use to create art). That's how we awaken and release the Creative You inside. Meosha Thomas instructs the class. Registration deadline one week prior to first class.

Adult Sip and Create

This event helps you embrace your inner artist so your true colors can show! No matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned Creative, this event will inspire you to open up, have fun, sip a little wine or beverage of your choice (BYOB), and enjoy adult conversation. You will leave feeling accomplished and with a new piece of art to hang on the wall, wineglass to display, or one of a kind candle to burn! The themes and participants change, so why not join us every month! Meosha Thomas instructs the class. Registration deadline one week prior to class date.

Senior Day Art Party 
Creative projects that engage all skill and ability levels. This is an opportunity to talk about your life and journey on canvas, paper, found objects, glass, molding clay, or wood, at your own pace. Have you always wanted to try your hand at one of those funny looking art projects? Now is the time to make that unique poetry book cover, interesting personalized gifts, or rage against the establishment... via Art, like you did in the sixties (or WHEN you were 60?), or like you’ve always wanted to. Meosha Thomas instructs the class.  No class November 23. Registration deadline one week prior to first class.

Blues Kids Harmonica
Learn basic harmonica techniques such as playing within the 12 bar blues progression and more. No musical experience is required. Bring a C diatonic harmonica and a desire to learn to play the blues! Clement Bashir instructs the class.

Beginning Blues Harmonica
Learn basic harmonica techniques. Learn to play clear single notes, tongue blocking, and play within the 12 bar blues progression. We will also cover bending notes, octaves and more. No musical experience is required. Bring a C diatonic harmonica, a desire to play the blues and your ears. Clement Bashir instructs the class. Private lessons available upon request.
