Our Loan Closet

Would you like to “test” a piece of equipment before you spend the money to purchase it yourself? We loan wheelchairs, walkers, and a variety of other adaptive devices. Borrowing equipment on a short-term basis can help you select the best option before purchasing your own equipment. It also fills the gap during temporary periods of need.

The Loan Closet is free of charge. There are no eligibility requirements.

Medical equipment that is donated, such as crutches, canes, walkers, and bedside commodes, are loaned free of charge to those who need them.

I Need Help:
Those in need of gently used medical equipment may contact us at 708-748-1118.
No referral is needed, but a release form must becompleted.

I Want to Help Others:
Contribute Equipment - Contributions are gratefully accepted provided the equipment is clean and in good working order. Because our storage space is limited, we ask that you contact us at 708-748-1118 before bringing it over to make sure we can accept yourcontribution.

Please note that we cannot accept lift chairs and hospital beds, scooters, oxygen , CPAP equipment, or nebulizers.
