FOOD SAFETY AND NUTRITION - Femi Sulyman, Cook County Food Inspector
Jenise Ervin and Brenda Walker, Park Forest Food Safety Sanitarians
Businesses that serve food are inspected quarterly to assure compliance with food safety rules and standards. These rules apply to restaurants, grocery stores, take-out food service, day care centers, and temporary food sellers. In Park Forest, laundries, cleaners, barber and beauty shops are also inspected.
The Health Department takes an active role at the Park Forest Farmers’ Market. From May through October, we assist vendors and provide nutrition education and recipes to Market customers. Enjoy better health through better nutrition!
